First of all, and with great delight, I’m utterly thrilled to share - if you haven’t seen me shouting about it all over social media already - that the Kickstarter campaign to launch the Moments Journal has been a success! Your support and pledges raised enough money to pass the funding target with time to spare, so the first print run of the journals is going ahead and I hope to have them winging their way around the world very soon!
Hello again! If you’ve been keeping up with these posts about Moments and the evolution of the Moments Journal then thank you - and if you haven’t you can catch up on what Moments are and why they matter in the two previous posts.
This time I want to let you in on how I use the journal, how it’s changed my life (no exaggeration), and why I think it works.
Continuing from last week’s post looking at what Moments are, this time I want to address the second part of the definition, which was that a Moment is something of significance or value.
I spoke recently on an Instagram post about how memories seem to work - we very rarely remember whole days, but instead recall moments, which must mean that there was something important enough for us to take notice and store them. They must resonate with something about our outlook or beliefs for them to register with our conscious mind and our senses.
